I can't comment on the Netflix series as I haven't seen it, but as I indicate in this review, Civil War isn't entirely without politics. The more I think about it, the more I think that President is, in essence, a Trump figure. But the film is constructed in a way that allows everyone in, regardless of political persuasion, and it is elegantly made in that respect. The right move, in my opinion. :)
