I completely agree. The Adventures of Robin Hood (with Errol Flynn, from 1938) will always be definitive as far as the romantic myth of Robin Hood is concerned, but I really liked Ridley Scott's grittier, more adult, more "historically accurate" take, and think it is underrated. I included it in my ten favourite Ridley Scott films piece from about a year ago (link below, if you're interested). :)
