I completely disagree.

Conclave has no business being nominated for Best Picture. If it weren’t for the excellent acting of Ralph Finnes, this film would be a waste of celluloid. If you aren’t Catholic and don’t understand the symbolism of all the pageantry around selecting a Pope, this film didn’t offer much. The film was slow, visually dull, and painful. Although the message of the film was worth the wait, it was a tedious process to get there.
