I confess, it hurt leaving A Fish Called Wanda off, but it's in the honourable mentions (and you can click to my seperate article on it there). I only did that to give a broader range of comedic talent, and I already had Cleese with the rest of the Pythons. Kevin Kline is absolutely brilliant in that film.

As for Chaplin, Modern Times has always been my favourite, though The Gold Rush is a close second. City Lights is excellent too. :)
