I deeply feel every word of this article, and if you are familiar with my writing on Medium at all, you will know I am an old school, hardcore cineaste who despises all the so-called streaming revolution has done to cinema with every fibre of my being.
So yes, top marks from me. If you're interested, here's two articles from yours truly proclaiming the virtues of cinema over streaming and home cinema systems, plus one explaining why people ought to opt for physical media not streaming when viewing at home, and one explaining how to avoid disruptive viewers at the cinema for those who don't attend for that reason. I don't believe cinema will die, as it has survived television, VHS, DVD, pandemics, etc, but people need to be reminded of just why cinema is superior and always will be.
