I didn't like Death Proof or The Hateful Eight (though the latter at least looks great and has a good Ennio Morricone score). I think many of his later films, even the stronger ones like Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood or Django Unchained, contain major flaws. For example, in the latter, it is great up to the bit when he refuses to shake hands with Leonardo DiCaprio, and after that it rather goes downhill (that awful Tarantino role with the dreadful Australian accent, for instance). Anyway, that's what I mean when I say inconsistent.
