I disagree. The backlash is a lot less huge than you might think. It is a vocal minority, but still a minority. This was the wrong thing to do. Also, she is entitled to her opinions, no matter what we might think of them (for the record, I thought her initial tweet very unwise - indeed, I can't understand why anyone goes on Twitter as it strikes me as a cesspool of polarised militant cruelty on both sides of this issue). People need to grow up, frankly. Not everyone is going to agree on everything, and that is perfectly fine. She's not an elected official. She isn't passing laws. Despite not understanding why on earth she (or anyone) would be on Twitter, I admire her for refusing to be bullied by all this.
