I don't dismiss him entirely, but I didn't care for The French Dispatch or Asteroid City (the latter sorely tested my patience, and to my mind is a serious case of Emperor's new clothes). That said, I loved Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom, and especially The Grand Budapest Hotel. It all rather depends how up his own backside is Anderson is on any given film. :)
My thoughts on Asteroid City, if you want to question my credibility. ;)
