I don't know about America as much, but here in the UK cinemagoing seems more or less back to normal, following Covid and all that annoying streaming nonsense. But streaming was just the latest threat. Cinema has seen off television, VHS, DVD, home cinema systems, and so on. The cycle is always the same. People gloomily predict the end of cinema, then cinema bounces back as people gradually realise sitting on one's sofa simply isn't the same.

Cinemas will always be with us. :)
