I don't think I've ever thought of myself as a blogger, as my blog posts are either film reviews or promotions of my novels. My blog is really a promotional afterthought (and obviously, I've since expanded onto Medium and elsewhere).

I'm also going to siphon off the film review element of my blog onto Substack soon, to make things cleaner (whilst syndicating them here, still).

But this article still has some great points. :)
