I get what you're trying to do here. Quite honestly, a lot of this seems a reaction to a certain kind of social media TwitTok video full of vacuous, deluded young women with Only Fans accounts blithering on about wanting a millionaire who is over six feet tall. I don't think it's an accurate represenation of the real world. Not everyone is a narcissist. There are good, kind people out there.
My suggestion for any man who genuinely feels this way is to unplug and eschew social media with extreme prejudice. Neither of my sons have any social media (they are 19 and 14, by the way) because they see how it is wreaking havoc with their contemporaries. They want nothing to do with it, and also claim it is fuelling a pointless gender war on both sides. I think they are both very wise, and I don't think I would have been that wise at the same age, had I been exposed to such ghastliness as a teenager.
All that said, I think there are some universally relevant things in the Barbie speech concerning women that have always been relevant, regardless of the present era. And you have some valid points here too regarding men. Personally, I favour being unapologetic about who you are as a woman or a man. For example, if you are naturally stoic, ignore blithering nonsense about "toxic masculinity". Who cares what anyone else thinks?
