I grew up among evangelical Christians. On one occasion, a very earnest youth pastor urged me to stop listening to Erasure, as doing so would "turn me gay" (still listening decades later, and no homosexual desire so far). Another fellow believer warned me about backtracking on Led Zeppelin records and Queen records (the ones you mention here), so I simply said: "In that case, I'll only play them forward."
