I had a Saturday job during my A-levels working in a supermarket. Most of the time there wasn't music, but at Christmas... Oh, dear God. No wonder I absolutely detest the likes of Slade, Shakin' Stevens, etc, etc. Christmas pop songs are an abhorrence to me. Mariah Carey will one day have to answer to God for what she has done.
Personally, I think what retail workers have to suffer with music is legalised torture of a kind that would be frowned upon if it happened at off books black ops sites.
As for that Shelton song - I fully agreed it should be taken into the woods in the middle of the night and shot in the back of the head, never to be heard again.
