I have never been a fan of Friends (though I will concede it is well put together), as I prefer my TV comedy to be more in the Fawlty Towers/Blackadder/Red Dwarf/Monty Python/The Day Today vein (yes, I know those are from decades ago). However, I can completely understand why certain classics should never be rebooted/brought back, whether in TV or film. Most of the time it's a disaster.
