I heartily concur with this. I am not a fan of Rotten Tomatoes or other aggregators, and ignore them with extreme prejudice.

The critics I do follow are those who have earned my trust as erudite, informed, and above all entertaining people - Mark Kermode, for instance. However, that doesn't mean I always agree with him.
