I know what you mean about Bad Taste. I felt sick the first time I watched. And completely agreed re: Event Horizon. As for Flesh + Blood, yes, it is gory, violent, and rapey as hell (I daresay it influenced Game of Thrones), but it is outrageously entertaining. I won't deny having a massive crush on Jennifer Jason Leigh as a teenager, which definitely was another guilty pleasure factor, but even viewed objectively, I think it deserves some credit for sheer audaciousness.
