I like The Jam, The Byrds, and The Smiths, but not The Pogues. Also, as an alternative Pet Shop Boys record rather than West End Girls, check out the melancholy London (which wasn’t a single here, but was elsewhere). It’s about the immigrant experience and very poignant.
