I like the parallel you draw between the two. Fascinating. Perhaps they aren't as unconnected after all.

I definitely think people will need some cheer after Oppenheimer, from what I hear (in a good way, it sounds like a film that overwhelms). But I've decided to see them on separate days (although both on opening weekend). :)
