I like Tombstone, but I actually prefer the rather underrated Wyatt Earp, which was out around the same time. Of course, my favourite version of this story is John Ford's My Darling Clementine, but I was only allowing myself one film per director, and Ford's slot was taken.

Also, High Noon is a strong contender for my absolute favourite western, so I'm certainly not going to change my mind on that front. But each to their own. :)
