I like your De Niro combos. I'm not sure about pairing The King of Comedy with Natural Born Killers though, as I simply don't like the latter very much. I'd prefer to pair it with another Scorsese film, Taxi Driver, as the two films are thematically linked. On the other hand, if you did want to pair The King of Comedy with something media related, perhaps something like Dog Day Afternoon would be better (the way the media responds to the hold up, manipulating those watching, is a key theme of the film).
