I liked the 2012 film (despite Daniel Radcliffe being hopelessly miscast) and I revere the novel as one of my all-time favourite pieces of gothic literature (it's also informs on my own fiction, especially Spectre of Springwell Forest). But I've still never seen this TV version, despite having heard many good things about it. Time to correct that. :)
