I much prefer the novels to the films, which I simply don't think are as good (save the second Deathly Hallows film). But the John Williams scores in films one and three are absolutely outstanding. :)

Also, not suitable for children? Seriously? Mine lapped up the novels when I read them to them between the ages of about nine and twelve or so. Then I showed them the films. :)
