I must confess I didn't much care for Hereditary. I think it was well acted and directed, but it didn't know whether it wanted to be psychological horror, ghost story, or satanic panic, and somewhere along the way I stopped caring about the characters. Here's my original review, if you're interested. I liked Midsommar a lot better.
