I never refer to anything as a "franchise". Too corporate. It's a series. That's it.

…trilogy? Or is this more to do with branding, and thus, there are no rules but what economics deem? All I know is that when Star Wars was only three films, we didn’t refer to it as a franchise. It was The Trilogy.
