I normally wouldn't presume to speak for Jesus, but I'll make an exception in this case. He says clearly, in the Cinematic Gospel of Dillon, that Die Hard is a Christmas film, but that God will be back in the Old Testament smiting business if people don't stop blithering on about it, as it should primarily be celebrated as an action film. He was lot more succinct with the question of The Godfather, and gave a one word answer: No.
