I get it in the neck from both sides of this debate, because I consider myself anti-abortion but pro-choice. What I mean by that is due to what I personally believe, if a woman ever asked me for my advice as to whether she should get an abortion, I would advise no (not that this has ever happened, or is likely to happen). But it is still her choice, and I do believe that there needs to be a legal framework for abortion, as the prevailing democratic view favours it (I am anti dictatorship, theocracy, etc), as the illegal alternatives are horrifying (see this film if you have the stomach for it), and it is not for me to inflict my views on anyone else.

That pisses off just about everyone, I've found, so I tend to stay quiet on the subject as I'm not looking for a fight (I'm making a rare exception for your article, though doubtless I can attract ire by doing so).
