I operate in the opposite way: I write offline, and nothing gets put into Medium until it is fully polished (I'm paranoid about uploading unfinished material that then gets published by mistake because of some silly technical glitch). I currently have sixteen articles in my drafts, but they are all fully finished, with pictures, appropriate metadata added, and so on. I'd be annoyed if one was accidentally published or sent to the publication in question ahead of when I intend, but at least if it happened, the work is completed.

And yes, I'm a bit of a paranoid control freak. I just don't trust the online world with my unpolished work.
