I quite like the chase at the end of the fifth film, but for the most part I agree.

The finale of the sixth film involves a chase to prevent a plane taking off. I remember making a few rough calculations in my head whilst watching to the effect that allowing for the estimated speed of the vehicles and duration of the sequence, the runway would need to be about twenty miles long!
