I recently saw an article by someone complaining about incest themes in the Game of Thrones prequel. I read the outrage, at how the programme makers didn't consider that there might be people watching who have experienced such abuse in real life. Whilst I am obviously sorry that anyone suffered abuse, I can't understand why that gives them a right to demand all television drama avoid difficult topics. Don't like it? There's an off switch.
