I remember seeing this at the cinema during the original release, and being appalled (as I always am) by a few latecomers who arrived three minutes in, and therefore missed that incredible opening shot. I mean, yes, they could pick up the story easily enough, but... damn. I really hate people turning up late for films. It makes me go all hot and cold.
