I said from the very start (1992) that Take That would be huge and Robbie Williams would go on to do a "George Michael/John Lennon" and have a solo career. I was seventeen at the time, and people thought I was mad. I was very smug indeed, just a few years later.
As for the music, I'd perhaps stop short of calling myself a "fan" (I reserve that term for bands I genuinely revere, like New Order, The Smiths, or Pet Shop Boys) but I hugely enjoy both bubblegum pop (Take That) and more serious artistic endeavours (Robbie Williams), so yes, I like the music. It's a nostalgic blast too. My only regret is that the film didn't include my all-time favourite Robbie Williams track, No Regrets. :)
