I saw In the Name of the Father as a student and it completely blew me away. That was one hell of an Oscar year too (Best Picture nominees: In the Name of the Father, The Piano, Short Cuts, The Remains of the Day, Schindler's List - and it's also the year of Carlito's Way, A Bronx Tale, Farewell My Concubine, Jurassic Park, Aladdin, Much Ado About Nothing, The Fugitive, What's Love Got To Do With It, The Age of Innocence, Shadowlands, and many other gems).
