I still fail to see how Carano keeping her job in The Mandalorian creates a public health risk. If she's saying silly stuff on Twitbook, surely the best thing to do is not draw further attention to it. Or alternatively, Twitbook could always boot her off if they thought she was endangering lives. Personally, I think Twitbook (and the social media hive mind in general) tends to strain out a gnat and swallow a camel, so to speak. And Carano is a case in point. I think all this action did was cause both sides to double down on their respective sets of hurt feelings, regardless of facts.
Don't misunderstand me: I think refusal to wear masks is foolish. I also think claiming the US election was rigged despite there being no hard evidence is equally foolish. But I still think depriving her of her livelihood for such assertions was the wrong move.
