I still think Scorsese's opinion is of immense value.

By the way, I don't think anything he said is disrespectful of the craftsmanship involved in any of the films he criticises. I think he's more concerned at the slavish demands of a monster that devours "content", ie streaming platforms, and too much of that material is not created with honest artistic intent. I think that's really what is behind his point. I have to say I agree with him.
