I suspect you may be correct. I'm thoroughly enjoying the latest Stranger Things, I must say. One thing I can't understand is how Michael Modine is still alive (I thought he got his head bitten off by one of those creatures, unless I'm misremembering). I wondered if it wasn't really him, but someone else pretending in a Scooby Doo/Mission Impossible mask to try and trigger Eleven's powers. But that theory hasn't proved true.
