I think most of the criticism concerns what the film allegedly glosses over, such as alleged infidelities (though I don't think it does gloss over that, personally). Anyway, accurate or not, it's a damn good film. Also, glad you enjoyed Luhrmann's take on Gatsby. It isn't the novel, but it is like a good "cover version" of the novel (if that makes sense).
