I think you do to be certain. Otherwise you are merely "reliably informed" which is different. All that said, I have seen the film sequels at least, and can confirm they are rubbish in my not remotely humble opinion. :)

As for Highlander, it's a ridiculous film that makes no sense whatsoever, but a guilty pleasure. Did you see the US version or the full UK/European cut?
