I think you should definitely check out the Schlesinger version. It will stick with you in a way the Vinterberg version doesn’t (I can barely remember the Vinterberg version, which I’ve only seen once, at the cinema in 2015, whereas the Schlesinger version instantly burned itself into my consciousness).
