I visited a Star Trek convention once, years ago, during my student years (on work experience, working for local radio). I interviewed some interesting people, including one guy who had translated half the Bible into Klingon. I did wonder why he did the latter, and whether he was intending to visit Klingon planets to try and convert them to Christianity.
