I was curious, so thank you. Great anecdote, and I'm not surprised your memory is so reliable in this respect. I have a similar thing when people talk to me and I recall obscure film facts, including release dates, members of cast and crew that aren't simply directors or the leads, or different cuts of the film. My wife always laughs when this happens, because I typically get incredulous responses of "You're not looking at IMDB are you?" One time, someone immediately got their phone out to check if I was right, to which my wife wearily responded: "Don't bother. He's right."

But if I'm sent to the shop to buy more than two things, I'll need to a list. So it's a fairly useless skill, in truth. :)
