I was reminded of that scene in Aliens, where Burke tells Ripley Hicks can't be in charge because he's just a grunt, then adds "no offence" to his sentence. Later, after Burke's murderous and traitorous actions, Hicks grabs Burke and says: "We waste him. No offence."
