I was singularly unimpressed with this one.

At best, Scream VI functions as passable fan service, with a few suspenseful set pieces that shred the nerves. At worst, it plays like cringey fan fiction, with a botched finale that can’t even meet this franchise’s low bar for believability. If you’re a glutton for punishment and plan to see it anyway, spoilers will follow.
