If you didn't think it worked, fair enough. I can understand why, and this definitely isn’t for everyone. My own take is this is an agreeably bonkers genre mashup flawed by jarring shifts in tone, especially towards the end. However, performances are strong, and it is never boring. The musical numbers were actually the thing that bothered me least, in terms of the tonal shifts. More of my thoughts here, if you're interested. :)
