I'll grant that Andor was interesting, but it is light years removed from the tone of the original Star Wars, and something far more dystopian. I think what made it work was it's about petty middle management bureaucrats and their personal lives, as well as dubious end-justifies-the-means rebels. Shades of grey, obviously. Here, the Empire is vindictive and oppressive in a way never seen in the films. And on those grounds, on this specific occasion, I agree. But I don't agree about the prequels.
