I'll say again what I said to you before, regarding the superiority of physical media over streaming:
1. I told you so.
2. I told you so.
3. I told you so.
My much bigger concern (besides films simply being unavailable on streaming) is censorship. Films and TV programmes are cut or removed entirely from streaming platforms because X, Y, or Z celebrity breathes in the wrong direction on TwitTok, or if they are guilty of serious crimes.
But guess what? With DVD and Blu Ray, no one can dictate to me that I must, for my own good, no longer separate art from artist. No one can "cancel" my DVDs or Blu Rays of Roman Polanksi films, Woody Allen films, films or TV series by Joss Whedon, the Michael Jackson episode of The Simpsons, the episodes of The IT Crowd removed from streaming services for being offensive (for one reason or another), etc, etc.
Instead, I sit smugly among my agreeably vast collection of physical media, enjoying what I want, when I want, without interference from those who manage "the cloud", and their timid responses to loud, obnoxious, authoritarian mobs.
