I'll say this: I don't believe in reciprocation for its own sake. Read what you find interesting. If a writer is consistently excellent, make sure to support them, but with no expectation of reciprocation. I think such an attitude leads to a more contented life, and (ironically) gaining more genuine and engaged readers. :)
