I'll wait until the series finishes, and if I am reliably informed it delivers a great ending, I'll give it a look. Otherwise, life is too short, and I have films to watch.

This is generally my approach with all TV drama. Unless my wife tells me something requires my immediate attention (when she says that, she is never wrong), I wait for series to finish before taking the plunge. This is why I binged the whole of Breaking Bad, The Wire, and various other greats only after they had concluded. I was determined never to waste my time on another Lost (and for this reason, I'm glad I bailed on Game of Thrones before the controversial final series). :)
