I'm actually going to disagree with you here.

It reminds me of Baz Luhrman with his remake of The Great Gatsby. When I heard it was him I immediately cringed, knowing that his interpretation of the book would be over the top and miss much of the point of it. For lack of a better phrase, he just doesn’t “get it.”
