I'm afraid I can't agree with you here, but fully understand why you have arrived at that conclusion. I've had a female best friend for donkeys years, and we're both very happily married to other people, with both other parties fully aware and accepting of the friendship, etc. In fact, both my wife and my friend's husband often talk about how our friendship has actually been really great for both our respective marriages. I do accept this is an unusual situation, but there it is. :)
