I'm astonished you managed to work this metaphor in, but oddly, it works.

…Chimes of Freedom EP (it’s the NLT of “Born to Run” versions). Just like hearing a Springsteen song I’ve known for five decades performed in a slightly different way gives a new appreciation of the song, reading a familiar Bible verse translated a slightly different way helps me see that verse in a fresh way.
